General setup guide
IMPORTANT: if the loader won't open or shows an error on startup, it's almost always your antivirus or Windows Defender still running. Disable everything before continuing.
DControl: DownloadFully disables Windows Defender (optional)
DirectX: DownloadOfficial Microsoft installer
Visual C++ (x64): DownloadOfficial Microsoft installer
Step 1: Disable Windows Defender and real-time protection
- Open Settings → Privacy & security → Windows Security → Virus & threat protection
- Click Manage settings
- Turn off Real-time protection
Step 2: Disable Tamper Protection
- On the same screen, scroll down and turn off Tamper Protection (if it doesn't show up, skip this step)
Step 3: Disable any other antivirus
- Close your antivirus from its icon near the clock and end its services in Task Manager
Step 4: Fully disable Defender with DControl (optional)
- Download DControl from the link at the top of this guide
- Right-click it → Run as administrator
- Disable all Defender and SmartScreen options and restart your PC
Uninstall programs that can block the loader:
- Vanguard
- FACEIT Anti-Cheat
- RivaTuner
Step 5: Install the dependencies
- Download and install DirectX and Visual C++ (x64) from the links at the top of this guide
- Restart your computer
